.::Personality::.
Lilly
is very quite for the most part. But she is not shy like Melia is.
Actually, she has a lot of courage and intelligence, but she simply
chooses not to speak. Due to past experiences, Lilly
has almost a magical vibe to her. She is extremely playful and carefree
thus she is rather irresponsible and probably shouldn't be relied on.
She is quite lazy as well and doesn't enjoy having to hunt or fight.
.::History::.
(Written in Lilly's point of view)
I
miss my sister. I haven't seen her since I was taken away into a
fantastical world of magic. She was so kind and easy-going. So beautiful
and fair. She was the best sister I could have asked for. I miss
singing songs with her and playing in the grassy meadows. I miss the
songs she would sing to me with her lovely singsong voice at night and
the feeling of her sleeping next to me and protecting me. And most of
all I miss racing with her in the open grass. Sometimes I wish the
fairies had never taken me away, but then again sometimes I'm glad they
did.
It was a warm summer's night and Melia and I were asleep in
the meadow. Melia had told me about the sneaky little pixies who stole
away young Goennecs at night. Of course, I never believed her. Suddenly,
my small body was grabbed by some human like being with large beautiful
wings at the dead of night. I started to scream at the top of my lungs,
but my voice just sounded soft and distant. There were monstrous
shadows dancing around me. I could see more fairies approaching as they
controlled the moving shadows. I could just barely see a sliver of my
sister's chestnut coat darting around from place to place.
"Melia!
Help me! What's happening?" I tried to scream, but nothing would come
out of my throat. But how? Did the fairies enchant my voice, where they
the ones making the shadows dance? Of course they were. When ever
something unexplainable happens, Melia always told me fairies were the
cause. And that was one of those unexplainable moments. I felt like I
was up in the air, but everything was getting blurry. I thought I saw
the slightest hint of wings, but I passed out before I figured out what
was happening.
When I woke up, I was in some sort of dreamland.
Brilliant dragons were flying over head and snake-like sea serpents were
swimming in the lake nearby. There were merry fawns dancing around with
beautiful nymphs and pixies darting here and there. And I thought I saw
a majestic griffin atop one of the mountains in the distance.
"Am I dreaming?" I asked to myself, wondering whether or not I was in a dream.
"What,
no. You are in a magical land full of fantastical creatures you've only
dreamed about." A feminine voice suddenly told me.
"Wh-who are you?" I blinked around, seeing no one.
"I'm
Siofra, an elf. I'm your new mother now." A winged female being with
pointed ears walked out from behind her house and smiled. "I hope you'll
find your stay here pleasant. Come now little Goennec, let's go inside."
I was carried into the house, which seemed to be a giant acorn with a door and windows and I was put down near the fireplace.
"What is your name?" Siofra asked me in a songsong voice. Her voice reminds me of Melia's
"My name is Lilly mother. Where did my sister go? Why isn't she here?" I cried. "Please tell me she wasn't killed by the shadows!"
"Hmmm, you're going to need a new name. Lilly
is such a mortal's name. Let's call you Belle." The elfin woman said.
Belle, I liked the sound of that. "Oh! And your coat is very plain, I'll
need to touch it up."
"That's very nice mother, but I must know about my sister!" I plead, trying to get the elf's attention.
"Oh yes, the unicorn. We don't need anymore unicorns here, there are plenty to play with already."
"But my sister isn't a unicorn, she's a Goennec just like me!"
"Oh,
but I'm too tired to go back now. I left a red flower in your place, so
maybe she can use that to find us. Let me get started on your dull coat
Belle."
Siofra pulled some glittering paint from a drawer
upstairs and started skipping back to me in the living room. She had a
deep, rich brown and white. Siofra kneeled down next to my trembling
body [I was still extremely confused and scared] and dipped her dainty
fingers into the white paint.
"Okay Belle, I've got some paint now to make you look beautiful!" The elf happily sang.
"Won't it come off mother?" I asked, still confused.
"No silly Goennec.
This paint is enchanted. It's permanent." Siofra giggled. She placed
one finger on one of my white patches and stroked it along my pastel
brown body. The paint felt so cool against my skin. She continued to
make beautiful swirling patterns until I looked completely different. My
blotches had intricate swirls coming out of them. Indeed, I did look a
lot better. Next, Siofra lowered her slender fingers into the brown
paint and started mixing it into my white mane. The rich brown was
showing up in splotches and in random places.
"There, you look
perfect Belle." Siofra backed up against the wall to admire her work.
She looked at me with such caring eyes and I knew I was in good hands.
I
had gotten used the life of living with fairies. It was a lazy and
carefree life [Well, unless you were being attacked by chimera or
something] Everyday I would race the unicorns and laze around in
Siofra's lap. Soifra would order her dwarfs to feed me the finest of
lavish flowers and sweet nectar. I would dance with the fairies in the
fairy rings at night and the magical creatures had taken a liking to me.
My life was so easy and nice, until I realized something was missing.
Melia still hadn't found me and I felt like a part of me was still in
the mortal world with her.
